Our new favorite place for Nepali food is Zuzu Mo:Mo in Everett, just 5 miles North of Boston…its totally worth the drive. Young chef Parshuram Shahi really knocks it out of the park with his dishes, serving traditional yet contemporary flare that is a mix of street food and upscale ethnic cuisine. Chef Shahi’s passion started young, while learning to cook with his mother, and his inspiration stems from blending different types of herbs and spices, to bring Nepalese dishes to the next level of awesomeness, and his passion shines through with his dishes.

We started with the ZuZu Style Tandoori Masala Wings that were uniquely different and delicious—the flavors that stood out in a town where there’s a million wing offerings.

Next, we had to try their MO:MO (Dumplings)…they have many varieties and are cooked to perfection. We tried the New Road Style C, sautéed with onions, bell pepper, red chili sauce and Sichuan pepper, and the Kothey MO:MO that are pan fried, and delightfully crisp. You’ll appreciate the simplicity and clean flavors of the dumplings.

And don’t leave this place without ordering a side of Naan. As #Keto fanatics, we don’t eat bread often, but this Naan is seriously worth the cheat. We can’t wait to go back and have another order.

They have a cozy outdoor seating area that wraps around the side of the building, making it a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some good food with a local brew. We’ve found their whiskey selection quite good too.

Put this place on your “wanna go” list and enjoy!
