Heart Coffee Roasters — E Burnside — 2211 E Burnside St. Heart opened in 2009 with a mission to highlight the distinct fruit flavors in coffee, and their precision light roasts remain some of the most distinctive in the city. Cold brew here mirrors that same brightness and clarity. Open Mon–Fri 7am–3pm, Sat–Sun 8am–3pm.
Upper Left Roasters — 1204 SE Clay St. Roasts on-site and offers nitro cold brew on tap in a bright, open Central Eastside space. This is one of Portland’s most lively neighborhood roasters with delicious pour-over coffees. Open Mon–Fri 7am–4pm, Sat–Sun 8am–4pm.

NE ALBERTA
Proud Mary Café — 2012 NE Alberta St. An Australian import that brought world-class flat whites and exceptional coffee to Portland’s artsy Alberta Arts District. The coffee flight is worth ordering — cold brew, nitro, and espresso side by side. One of Portland’s best brunch menus alongside. Open daily 8am–4pm.
The one that stands out: Coava’s Public Brew Bar is the most unique experience on this list — you’re watching beans get roasted on the other side of the glass while drinking cold brew made from those exact beans. There’s nothing quite like it in the Pacific Northwest.
