If you’re looking for the most awesome Italian food in the North End, look no further than Tresca! We had a fabulous dinner supporting Boston Restaurant Week, so don’t miss it!

We shared a number of dishes, including the Buratta, which is a fresh creamy mozzarella served with baby heirloom tomatoes (which were seriously out of this world), basil, house balsamic dressing and crostini. We had another appetizer, the Arancini, which are crispy breaded rice balls stuffed with spinach, ground sausage, and mozzarella cheese, served on a bed of bright pomodoro sauce.

For dinner I had the parmesan crusted haddock filet with baby Heirloom tomatoes, basil, lemon and olive oil, served with perfectly mashed Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and baby spinach. Marc had the pan-fried chicken cutlet, house made pomodoro, served with freshly made pasta.

We also saved room for dessert…which is unusual, but we couldn’t resist. They seriously have the BEST tiramisu and flourless chocolate cake you’ll ever devour. The Tiramisu has layers of lady fingers soaked in Espresso and Rum, layered with mascarpone. The chocolate cake is the perfect thing if you’re looking for something dense and chocolate. YUM!

Are we making you hungry? I thought so!  Don’t miss this place!
