Fontevraud Restaurant in the Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud is a bucket list restaurant in the Loire you must visit. Chef Thibaut Ruggeri uses his on-premise organic vegetable garden to create wonderful and sustainable gastronomy with seasonal products, which change through the seasons.
His unique “Moon” menu is renewed at each cycle, symbolizing the anchoring of his cuisine in the rhythms of nature. The estate also produces honey, with the beehives installed in the gardens of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud.
