Here’s one for you Barolo fans! The grapes 🍇 come from a prized vineyard site that sits across the rolling hills of Piedmont. 💜

What is it? It’s the 2014 Fontanafredda Serralunga d’Alba Barolo ($45)

What’s it taste like? Bright and lively with red cherry, and rose petals that lead to pretty, yet earthy notes of tobacco, mushroom, and leather.

Drink Now? It’s still quite young, so if you can contain yourself, hold on to it for a few more years!!! I know, it will be tempting to open.

Food? Polenta with roasted mushrooms, with a crispy sage—a spectacular match!
