2009 Castello Banfi Riserva
The 2009 Castello Banfi Riserva is produced from grapes grown in the “Classico” zone of Chianti, between Siena and Florence. Aged two years, with one year in Slavonian oak barrels, the Castello Banfi is well balanced, round and supple with tobacco and earth notes; finishes clean with a hint of fresh cedar. The acidity is wonderful, making it a perfect food wine to pair with traditional Tuscan cuisine. It would also be awesome with almost any pizza.
