TerraNoble Winery in the Maule Valley of Chile continues exploring the most optimal terroirs to suit specific varieties. Carménère is one variety that is suited well, and the winery champions the grape to reflect its distinctive flavors with intense aromas and complexity.
Through expansion, they’ve managed to spearhead diversity, and produce different styles of Carménère. The CA1 from the Andes Foothills is described as the “ultra-premium Carménère” line, which also includes a CA2 Carménère from the coastal region of Colchagua Valley, showcasing distinct characteristics.
Exploring this lineup would give you an opportunity to observe the diversity of Carménère, and how different it tastes when grown in different regions and climates. Experiment firsthand and try them all!
