Wine Review: 2014 Emilio Moro Finca Resalso Tempranillo, Ribera del Duero, Spain

2014 Emilio Moro Finca Resalso Tempranillo: Absolute proof that drinkable young Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero can be made. Value oriented and quality conscious, this is a fruit forward (by Spanish standards) fun and exciting libation.

Inviting smells of dark fruit and fresh tobacco with herbaceous vegetation complete the aroma profile.  Flavors include dark berry, licorice and a hint of graphite. The well balanced wine has a comforting lengthy finish. Roasted pork or Lechazo would be an excellent pairing.
