Wine Review: 2011 Ponzi Pinot Gris, Willamette Valley, Oregon
The Ponzi Pinot Gris has attractive notes of apple in the nose with mouthwatering flavors of pear, lime, peach and mineral, leading to nice acidity that carries through to the finish. This wine has a touch of residual sugar (5.7g/L) that offers a pretty little palate dance when paired with crab cakes. It makes for a great pairing! 14,300 case production. Drink now.
Rating: Excellent (91) | $17 | 13.0% ABV

Sounds delicious, we’re always willing to try new wines
It is! Give it a try. We were quite fond of it especially when paired with seafood.
You know me, I am in with anything that is mouthwatering. I found it online and have a plan to serve it up with your crab cake recipe next weekend. Salute!
Now that sounds like a plan!
